Specialist Outpatient Clinic at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital
The SOPC is a very busy clinic where discharged patients return regularly for follow-ups. Most of the time, due to heavy traffic, children and parents have to wait a long time before seeing a doctor which sometimes leads to frustration and anxiety. The HKCH has approached Foundation Theodora to provide the presence of a Giggle Doctor in the waiting areas to help them create a more enjoyable atmosphere during these long waiting times.
This service was launched in April 2023 and we have served 2400 children in 2023.
